On recommence

Once again, I find myself not sure what to do. Inevitably, I feel as though I should focus this blog more on fiber work than anything else- it is, after all, a blog named "Twisted Stitches".

Today was a good day for learning new techniques. I shall have to take pictures of my most recent projects (which include, gloves (with actual fingers), a cardigan, mittens (learning how to do proper colorwork and working with the most dreamy alpaca yarn), and a vest.) Also, it was nice because I was able to find some really /great/ buttons for future projects. Going to the antique store can lend itself well to making some great discoveries.

In any case, I just started a fantastic new project called, "Kitsune". As I've said, I'm learning a new technique, which has (consequently) managed to cramp my left hand.

- What's this, you say? Why is your left hand cramped?

- Because, I interject, I'm knitting with both hands. Redundant, you think? Not at all. The left hand works continental and the right works "normal". Madness, I tell you. So far, it is slow going (unavoidable with these blasted "new" techniques), but I am confident that I will be able to pick up the pace and be done with these gloves by next summer... (I jest, of course- or rather, I hope, that it won't take me so long..)

Naturally, I'm wondering if I can take this blog to the next level and develop a following. Perhaps it is something to explore.
