So, instead of providing pictures, I decided to head over to fencing practice. It actually went pretty well and I'm feeling a bit more confident about the upcoming (local) competition. I still have to keep moving my feet (which always seems to be problematic) and the only thing that I'm feeling a bit frustrated about is the fact that I feel winded. My lungs don't seem to be doing their job properly... It feels like there is no air and that I'm being crushed from the pressure of my jacket. Usually, it helps if I take off my mask and unzip my jacket, but I know that won't fly in a competitive environment. We'll see how that goes...
On a separate note: though my back has been doing much better, it still hurts tonight (another reason why I called it a night pretty early today...)
Hopefully, the next post shall include photos.. although, I will include a picture of the camp that happened this last weekend.. Well, it was more of a training session than a camp. A lot of great people showed up.
Sometimes it is just so frustrating to remember how far I went in this sport and to realize how much more I will have to work to get back to that point, let alone get better! It's important to stay positive and it's proving to be difficult. I know that I can do this: it will be tough, but there are a lot of people that believe in me. It's unfortunate that there are people that don't believe in me- this is made even more difficult because that particular individual's opinion is something that I value. Oh well... whatcha gonna do? Gonna tough it out and listen to my music and to all the wonderful people around me and just work hard... I don't really know how to do anything else. :P
