Trying new things!

So, I've decided to become more familiar with the meat department. As such, I've taken to selecting one item from the department and I am attempting to cook it correctly. Yesterday was Lamb Gyro patties. I put it on a delicious slice of French bread- it would have been perfect if I'd had tsatsiki sauce. Tonight, I am baking a stuffed cornish game hen. I'll pair it with some potatoes (it would be nice to create a nice sauce, but I'm not that adventurous yet...) Tomorrow, I will attempt to conquer oxtail soup!!
